Made to make EWE smile!
Welcome to Thinking of Ewe where you can find an array of handmade wooden crafts laser engraved and painted with love and care. As the creator behind the store, I started this journey because I wanted to reignite my creative interests alongside being a busy mum to two amazing children, both of whom have autism with very different needs. Creating these crafts has become a sanctuary of sorts for me, allowing me to enter a different mindset and carve out a space just for myself. I pour my heart into each creation and I hope they will bring you as much joy in your homes as they do for me in creating them.
At Thinking of Ewe, I create rustic wooden home décor, from wall and freestanding art, tealight holders, to hanging log slices. Each piece is thoughtfully prepared, laser engraved, and hand-painted, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind creation that brings natural beauty and personality into any home.
I work with fallen branches, salvaged timber, and kindly donated wood, which I personally cut and prepare, celebrating each piece’s natural charm, shape, and grain. I then pair the wood with carefully chosen imagery from my own photography, original AI-assisted designs, or commercially licensed libraries, created using a precision laser and finished with hand-painting.
My work celebrates the characterful subjects of wildlife of the UK, farmyard friends, and cherished pets, as well as the stunning Lake District, where I live and am based. Each design is used only once, with the exception of hanging log slices and bookmarks, which are engraved only in small quantities, to ensure every piece remains truly one-of-a-kind, full of handmade charm, and a unique addition to any home.
Thank you for visiting my store and supporting my passion for creating beautiful wooden crafts.

I studied BA (Hons) Fine Art for Design and an HND in Surface Pattern (Textiles) in West Yorkshire. Since then, I have exhibited and sold my paintings both locally in Cumbria and across the UK. My work has also been published by The Art Group as greeting cards for Waterstones, as well as limited edition prints and posters for other retail outlets.
